My Sunday with Julie, Julia, & some inspiration..
If you know me at all I have always been a fan of the saying “You are always exactly where you are supposed to be, when you are supposed to be there”. Well today just gave me another reason to believe this. I had to stay home all day because my Izz is sick and while sitting on the couch changing the channels I came to “Julie & Julia” a movie I probably never would have watched had I not been stuck inside, I would have most likely passed right by it. A big fan of Amy Adams I decided to give it the 5-minute test, you know the one, you give it 5 minutes and if it doesn’t interest you then you find something else. Then it happened I listened to Julie (Amy Adams) listing all the reasons she had given up her dream of writing a book and instead taking a very sad cubicle job, she even tells her husband that the reason she doesn’t finish everything is because she has ADD. A sentence I have uttered more than once, so she decides to start a blog where she took Julia Child’s cookbook and in one year well she cooks her way through it. She says it a way of holding herself accountable one blog every day. Obviously the movie was about much more than writing a blog but what I got out of it was a girl who was talented who couldn’t get out of her own way, so she started a passion project and made it happen.

So here we go, I am going to try and hold myself accountable, no I’m not going to cook because that would be a disaster! I am going to try and post a blog every day, whether it be a photo, a quote, of something I saw that day that made me smile. I am going to try and post every day something, anything that I am passionate about. Get ready this could get interesting.
What will your passion project be? What will you promise to yourself that you will do daily, it can be anything big or small, I would love to see and hear about yours too! A blog a day to get me published my way?
